“Great location, amazing staff. Good beds and facilities, the curtains make it more private and the beds are equipped with your own lights and plugs (UK/EU). They also have a great rooftop with a pool table and place to socialize with other travellers. Nothing to complain about, I’ll be back!”

“My 5th time here? Who’s counting, always a pleasure to come back. I’ve already mentioned how fantastic the hostel is, this time I want to shine light on the art! The walls of the hostel are hand painted on every floor, in the bar area and even outside, by artists from all over the world! Worth a viewing!!! And last but not least they do have a selection of arranged activities. My favourites are: – Rooftop Barbeque – Boat trip to the famous blue lagoon and Gozo. Looking forward to my next stay! Much love to the fantastic staff”

“Marco Polo Hostel is a little paradise just at the entrance to the party district. The large rooftop area is what makes this hostel unique. It is the perfect place to unwind, socialize and exchange travel experiences with other guests while getting refreshments at the bar. During the night, especially during weekends, the rooftop may turn into an outdoor dance floor. The hostel is clean and very safe. The private rooms are beautifully decorated and the staff is just great!”

Late Check-out Fees: €20.00
Late check-out (after 11:00 and before 18:00) may result in a fee.
Property and Cancellation Policies:
Marco Polo requires 48-hour notice of cancellation. Failure to cancel your reservation within 24 hours of arrival or no show will result in a cancellation penalty equal to cost of entire stay.
Terms and Conditions:
- Please note, not included in quoted prices is an eco-tax of €0.50 per person per night.
- A deposit of €20 is required for the electronic key and is returned upon the turning in of the key at check-out. Loss of key results in loss of deposit.
- There is a 5% surcharge on all credit card transactions.
- No minors accepted.
- We expect that guests exhibit appropriate behavior while at MarcoPolo. Failure to do so may result in total cancellation of the remaining stay with no refund. Bad behavior and disrespect to other guests is not tolerated.
- €200 fine for smoking in the building. We do have designated outdoor smoking areas.
- Paid guests must check in visitors at the reception. Failure to do so will result in a penalty of one night’s stay, charged to the guest.
- 5 beds plus is considered as a group – a 50% of the total amount of the boooking will be charged upon booking.
